As the first Aquarium Curator of the new Public Aquarium located in Waterman’s Hall, Joe designed and set up all of the live exhibits including life support systems, custom décor and lighting, animal acquisition from local waters, informational graphics and daily public operation. Static exhibit donations, public programming and an active volunteer program were also established.
